Our Community
Hidden Glen is more than just a neighborhood—it’s a community where neighbors become friends and everyone takes pride in where they live.
Nestled in Fairfax County’s suburban landscape, our community emerged during the region’s transformation from rural farmland to one of Northern Virginia’s most desirable residential areas. True to our name, Hidden Glen offers the tranquility of wooded glens and rolling hills while providing convenient access to Washington, D.C. and the region’s urban amenities.
We are a self-governed community managed by a volunteer Board of Directors elected by homeowners. Our success depends on active participation, mutual respect, and open communication—values that have sustained our neighborhood through decades of regional growth and change.

Guest Parking
- Hidden Glen Parking Areas are designated exclusively for residents and their visitors.
- All vehicles must display a valid permit while parked in community spaces.
- Vehicles without visible permits are subject to towing at the owner’s expense.
- No inoperable vehicles are permitted to park in these areas.

Trash & Recycling Policy
Trash Pickup Schedule
- Trash pickup is scheduled for every Tuesday (subject to weather conditions)
- Place receptacles at the curb by 6:00 AM, but not before 5:00 PM the day before
- Retrieve all containers from the curb by 8:00 PM on pickup day
Important Guidelines
- Trash receptacles/containers must be out of public sight except on Tuesday pickup days
- All trash must be in a sealed plastic bag, box, or container
- Residents are responsible for ensuring trash and/or recycle materials are secured inside bags, boxes or bins
♻️ Zero Waste Initiative
Fairfax County is implementing a Zero Waste Strategy, with a goal to divert 90% of all waste from landfills or incineration. This initiative aligns with environmental and sustainability objectives.
Parking Policy
Hidden Glen Parking Areas are designated exclusively for residents and their visitors.
- All vehicles must display a valid permit while parked in community spaces
- Vehicles without visible permits are subject to towing at the owner’s expense
- No inoperable vehicles are permitted to park in community areas

Inova Franconia–Springfield Hospital (Under Construction)
- Location: 6361 Walker Lane, Franconia (next to current HealthPlex)
- Size: 985,000 sq. ft. campus with 110-bed inpatient hospital
- Features: Private rooms, expanded ER, diagnostic imaging, surgical suites, orthopedic specialty care
- Groundbreaking: Late 2024
- Expected Completion: 2028
This will transform the current HealthPlex into a full-service hospital, eliminating the need for most inpatient transfers to Inova Fairfax or Alexandria.
